The weatherman predicted 80% chances of rain. Well he was WRONG.
We had a near perfect day, just very cold. The road was a little damp from the
previous night's rain, but it soon dried and Des managed to climax (Des'
number plate is "CLIMAX ZN") close to 200 down Key-Ridge, much to
Ruben's amazement chasing Des.
We had 3 new faces including another Audi dealer, "we can now really start
bargaining for discounts 
".
Two Audi dealers at same meeting, That is what sportsmanship is a about, thanks
Jaco, Jenny (Alpine) and Mark (Audi Centre Durban).
Unfortunately, at the Crossway Hotel we sat for breakfast in
three round tables which kind of split the group into 3. Not the ideal
arrangement to seat 24 people, and management asked us to leave as they needed
to prepare for lunch, just after 11.00 
,
so the group gathered outside and continued with their discussions.
A question was put to the floor for the next venue as well as future activities.
It was decided to have a get together at the end of November and make it a
Brunch meeting.
The venue is the Rawdens Hotel in Nottingham Road. Date is the 30th November.
The Durban Audi's will again meet at the Assagay Country Hotel at 08:30, travel
to The Whistle Stop in PMB to meet the PMB Audi's at 09:00 then along the R103
to Nottingham Road for Brunch.
A Dyno day is also on the cards, as well as a gymkhana at the local Traffic
Department's parking lot. Now that should be interesting. Rock up with good
tyres and leave with canvas showing. Sorry Officer.
Thierry discussed the principle of ESP - Electronic Stability Program, a copy
this document has been e-mailed to everybody present.
Manie, AKA Razor ZN, AKA Audi A3 turbo with an identity crisis "A3T with S3
bumpers", was tasked to get availability and prices for the Margate Chalets
during March next year. An invitation is extended to the JHB chapter for this
week-end.
