It's that time again when the KZN clan go looking for fun and food. The meeting place of choice being the Pavilion again and from here we traveled north along the N2.
As per the normal we had a lot of bonding to do and Sabs with his Audi RS2 Avant joined us for the run up the north coast. It was good to be with our Audi Family again and catch up on all the news.

Ruben pulled a fast move on his Sister Arusha by hitching a ride with her, but after much "ragging" he went home to fetch his red TT.

Ashlin trundled up in his S60 Volvo .......

We left the Pav later than expected and agreed to meet Ruben at the Petrol-Port, well the convoy got there first -- wonder Y -- maybe because our Deepesh was leading the way ... Possible reason ....
Once everybody had arrived at the Petrol Port we left for Salt Rock. The boys in Brown were on duty, there were a lot of frantic phone calls made to advised the members of the danger, but as the KZN clan don't drive fast, no Audi prisoners were taken into custody ......
A second pit stop was made at the Tongaat Toll Plaza just to re-group and some members let their "turbo" cool down by opening the bonnet, or was it just to admire the marvels of modern German technology ----- and yet another photo shoot presented itself ......
Once everybody was accounted for the convoy left for the final destination The Salt Rock Hotel. The leader of the pack had a "blonde" moment and got horribly lost, the scenery was pleasant thou ....

After the Salt Rock community got "rocked" by the Audi Train, Thierry's "blonde" moment past he finally found his way to the parking spot, thank goodness for mobile phones....

He is getting to old for the Alpha Male role ...

The Audi convoy had finally arrived and were greeted by admiring spectators. It felt good.

We had 12 Audi's ranging from an RS2 Avant, 3.2 TT, A3 2.0 TDI, A4T's, S3's, A3T, 1.8t TT, Allroad and a lone Volvo..... Ashlin just still loves Audi's

Breakfast was served on the terrace and our Audi's were in full view. Many of the hotel guests came over for a closer look and some very pleasant comments were made.
Mark gave feedback from his recent trip to the Frankfurt Motor Show and brought us up to speed wrt the Audi fleet. There are some very exciting Audi's coming our way. Thanks Mark for the talk and the Audi Magazine that were handed out to all members present.
The next 2 events were confirmed for this year and thanks to the 7 members who paid their subs at this meeting. We have our first Lady Audi Owner club member, Arusha driving a "black" 2.0 TDI with a body kit ......Welcome aboard ...and congratulations to Darrin and Pinky on the birth of their baby girl ----
Once again a pleasant Audi outing was had, thank you to everybody that attended and thanks to Eddy Payne and hotel staff for an excellent venue and breakfast .... Thanks to Wayne for taking the pictures sore ribs and all .......... Till we meet again take care -----
